The First
Floor - Dining Facilities
Unity Hall is as
functional as it is beautiful. Its ground floor meeting rooms are
spacious and warm, speaking volumes of the years of history contained
within its walls.
Main
Dining Room
The Dining Room is a
bright space, located between the Kitchen and Parlor. The room
includes its original built-in China closets, home to Unity Hall's
own China pattern. While this China is no longer used for
foodservice, it is beautifully displayed and provides guests with an
intriguing look into the past. The Dining Room seats up to 30 guests,
and exits to a small patio in the rear of Unity Hall. From the Dining Room,
one enters the Parlor.
The
Parlor
This handsome room has a large gas fireplace.
Multiple windows allow natural light to bathe across the hardwood
floors. The Parlor comfortably holds 40 guests and can be used as a
lounge or meeting room, or for expanded dining. Guests enjoy being
seated at the antique tables and chairs, which are as old as the Hall
itself.
Adjacent to the Main
Dining Room is a tidy Kitchen. While not large, the Kitchen offers
adequate space for most functions and contains a double sink and ample
workspace. There is a four-burner stove and oven, plus a refrigerator
and freezer in the rear. There is private access to the Kitchen via
the rear door.
The first floor also
has 2 bathrooms, one of which is handicap accessible.
At the base of the
Grand Staircase to the Second Floor is a Ticket Booth and a hall area
with coat racks.

The Second
Floor - Theatre
The
Theatre on the Second Floor is the showpiece of Unity Hall. A guest
entering the Theatre for the first time experiences a sense of awe.
Though spacious, this room is warm and inviting with its beautiful
hardwood floors, walls and ceilings. The large windows provide much
light throughout the day. At night the space can illuminated by the
Stately Chandelier alone, or with additional and house lights that
ring the room.

The Theatre holds up to 100 people seated in rows for a performance,
or approximately 70 guests seated at tables. The charming stage is
perfect for small plays, intimate bands, and solo performances, and
can be theatrically lit according to the nature of the performance.
The stage is also well suited for public affairs such as speeches,
lectures, and rallies. The acoustics of the Hall are exemplary. As was
the case in years gone by, amplification is not even necessary in most
settings.
A small backstage area contains two modest dressing rooms, and a
staircase leading to the Kitchen and rear door.
